What's the age where a kid can stop visiting her parent in a divorce?
I’d like to know what the age is when a kid can legally stop visiting both parents. Is there? If the child absolutely does not want to visit the parent anymore, is there an age where he can just say enough? What’s the age in the united states?

At 15 -16 most kids want to be home on the weekends to hang out with their friends. The kid should have a talk with both parents concerning their wishes.
18! You stupid broad.
It’s common sense.
i dont knw
Not sure but maybe you could talk to the other parent and discuss why the child does NOT want to visit anymore ….there is probably a good reason….Id be VERY concerned if it were my child!!!
It varies by state. Some states are 14, some are older. Usually it’s outlined in the divorce decree. If you’re having abuse issues, you can insist on supervised visitation. If your custodial parent is aware that you don’t want to go, they can contact their attorney and explain the reasons. If your reasons are sound, they can change the way visitation is handled. If you don’t want to go because they make you obey the rules, not so much.
you could file for full custody.. or when the child is 18 its their choice.
