What do men think about women save themselves for marriage?

Just wondering what young men think about women who choose to save themselves for marriage. Assume you met a pretty women but she told you that she was saving herself for marriage. Do u have more respect for her or less?

I just lose interest altogether. It’d suck being tied down to someone and wind up marrying them only to discover that the two of you have zero sexual chemistry.
I so want to know the answer for this. I’ve only gotten raised eyebrows from guys.
I would respect her more if she was able to make her own wise decisions on who to sleep with and who to avoid.
More. If a woman can withstand all the pressures put on her throughout her teenage years and into adulthood with such a belief, more power to her.

Depends on what your beliefs as a guy are. I would think its pretty lame but a guy who also believes in no sex before marriage might have more respect for her.

Definatley MORE respect. But one problem that will pop up later, from you or him, is that you haven’t lived life and experienced other guys (or women for that matter) it could take a year or even 5, but it WILL eventually come up. I’m not telling you NOT to save yourself. Just, when you do find that good guy to marry, do your research on how to keep the sex alive.

I’m not a man I’m a woman and I’m 20 and I think the whole waiting till marriage to have sex is so dumb. I mean sex is a natural thing; you don’t escape it. Some men thing is it’s good and some thing is a waist of time to save yourselve. What if you never get married? So that means you don’t have sex?
How can waiting to fulfil a natural human instinct until an arbitrary ceremony command respect?
I respect her but it is a bit pointless and old fashioned.
It would make me think twice about marrying her, because people who hold these sorts of morals in the day and age we are living in, tend to be a bit weird. She’d probably be the really uptight, too informal, strict and boring type of woman. She probably wouldn’t want to have sex either. She’s probably be the type who follows everything so rigidly, like the type who won’t let our son watch an 18 rated movie if he is 17.

I have more respect for them, but I would either find someone else or cheat on them… answering honestly
If a girl told me that right off the gate, I would give the relationship about a month and if I couldn’t crack her then I would have to move on. But I do love girls that save themselves until they think they’ve found the one, like my fiance’. She was a virgin when we started dating and she stayed that way for about 4 days, but now we’ve been together about 3 years and we’re planning on getting married after she’s done with dental school.
