It depends on how long she has been a daily drinker. If she's been a daily drinker for a long period of time it might be tough. Have you talked to her about things that may be bothering her or making her depressed? I grew up in an alcoholic home. There is nothing that will make my parents ever stop drinking. Try taking her out of her element. Say to a new place or different atmosphere. Taking a trip together to allow her to see what else is out there instead of her daily routine.
