The only thing he can do is hold it up by contesting it. But since you two are legally separated that might be the next step for you. If she fights the terms of the divorce it can take awhile to go to court and all that fun stuff. Ultimately you will get the divorce but it may take awhile for it to be finalized by a judge. If you don't feel comfortable with the attorney you have working for then fire him and hire someone else. Just remember to have your new attorney advize you on ending the relationship with the old attorney. I would have told my attorney if he hadn't heard then you would appreciate it if he would call.
