can i stop the divorce even if i signed a petition not to contest it because we slept together after she filed
My wife filed for a divorce. I signed a letter stating that i wouldnt contest the divorce but we slept together after she filed. she still wants a divorce and i dont. Should i just tell the judge that we slept together and try to contest it anyway?

No point in contesting the divorce as this will be an expensive process involving lawyers. At best you will just delay the inevitable, you can’t make her love you anymore. Take advantage of your new freedom, do something you’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t when you were with your wife. You will soon realise that your ex is not the only woman in the world, there are plenty of good single women out there.
be honest.
Tell them.
But she wil still divorce you.
NO YOU CANT AND THEN SOME WOMEN CAN GET REALLY NASTY SHE WILL SAY YOU LIED. SHE WAS ONLY HORNY. WHY BE WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE WITH YOU? WOULD WITHOUT HESITATION WOULD YOU DIE FOR HER? IF YOU HESITATE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS LET HER GO THEN FIND THE TRUE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE THE ONE YOU WOULD WALK THROUGH FIRE FOR.
The two of you sleeping together was her last good bye to you.i.e. this is the last time your going to tag this. Know what I mean? She’s not in love anymore, she’s just tagging you one last time.
Have a talk with your wife and determine why she slept with you if she wants a divorce. Also inform the judge if the wife gets nasty.
The judge really isn’t going to care who slept with who. He/she is more concerned over the signing of the letter stating there will b no contestment to this divorce.
Contest if you like but the judge won’t care who slept with whom. Maybe you two need some marriage counseling; it sounds like you haven’t really made up your minds to get divorced. Either way, good luck to both of you.
