Can having another baby save a bad marriage?

My friend is married to a guy who is having cheating issues.
She just found out. In fact, he tried to get this new girlfriend
pregnant !!
He broke all contact with this girlfriend. Now, my friend
thinks if SHE has another baby with him, it will save thier
marriage.

Actually, it would probably have the opposite effect. A baby is a human being, not a marital aid or saver. If a relationship is having problems, the last thing a couple needs to add is a child.

Babbies can sometime bring families together just because of it. It may work it depends on what kind of man he is. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn’t. All i can say is she can try I mean what kind of a father would just leave it’s baby I think it has a chance of working. Tell her that she should try. It could make a difference.

No im 13 and my mom did that. please do everything you can to stop her because my mom did that when i was 2 years old . and when my little sister was 8 months old my dad was out of my life . they were divored and babys should be born into a happy loving family. i know this is going to sound sad but i think i have more common sence than people in there 20s 30s or 40s …. wow
It can actually have the opposite affect. Never use an innocent life to repair something. I’ve known a couple people who stopped taking their birth control in order to get pregnant and have a "miracle baby," and their men each bounced.
No. As a victim of divorced parents when I was younger, I know first hand that divorce can really traumatize a child with problems that will stay with them for the rest of their life. Having another baby won’t fix it, it will prolong their suppressed issues.

Are you kidding me? Lets see. Lets get the woman fat and disabled and see if that saves her marriage. Or lets stick a crying, fussy infant with the couple 24/7 and add a bunch of stress and see if that saves their marriage.
I’m all for couples having babies, even if the marriage isn’t perfect, but a baby does not save marriages.

NO! Another baby will usually sooth things for a while. However, the real issues are still there. Why he had another one? Where was she failing? Usually when a man has another it is because the wife is not fulfilling her side. As for me I love to have two women and it is the way that I function. As long as I have two I am fine. Is that guy like that?
She just opened herself up for a rude awakening. Babies don’t save marriages that are based on lies and cheats. Before bringing a baby in, these problems have to be resolved and, there’s so many diseases out there. Why waste time with a cheating husband? Move on. There is nothing to save once he slept with another woman and tried to get her pregnant. But, why are you so concerned?
This tactic never works and your friend is very dumb to think it will. The guy will just leave her high and dry. She will be stuck with two children and it is just bad any way you look at it.

No. A friend of mine was in a bad marriage with his first wife, and they had one child. She got pregnant (accidentally) with their second, and split up when their second child was six months old. A baby is rarely a magic bullet for a bad marriage, and it is not fair to put them through a divorce.
Having a baby has never saved a relationship, married or single.
If its not working it dead find pastures new.

Whether a baby can save the marriage or not is a totally different matter, but a baby should not be brought into the world with that kind of intention behind it. It should be brought into a loving household and to a family that wants a baby to shower their love on him or her, and express their love for each other. Not because it *might* save the marriage.
Can you imagine how the poor kid will feel when it grows up and eventually finds out (and trust me it will) the purpose of why he/she was brough into existence? AND especially if the marriage didn’t last anyway?

If she gets preg that will definitely be the end of their marriage for sure.Maybe not right away but it will happen because a new born baby needs all her attention so the husband gets left out at least that’s the excuse he will use when he cheats again.
